hey y'all! Looking to get a Catalina build going with opencore but I'm having some hardware sourcing issues. I purchased a 3900X today and some decent 3200mhz CL14 ram, unfortunately just about ALL of the motherboards are sold out currently..
After looking through various builds and guides I'm debating between purchasing an open box "ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming" for $180
or a backordered "ASRock X570 Steel Legend" for $200.
I've found builds/guides for both, or I could risk getting a new "MSI PERFORMANCE GAMING X470" that's in stock and hope patches/drivers/kexts work properly.
My main concern at this point is compatibility, curious what y'all suggest.
