UHD 630 lag for around 30 seconds after boot [H310M-HDV] [i5 8400]

So I followed the Vanilla OpenCore guide and after one day of trying different framebuffer configs I finally got that sweet 144Hz working properly (gotta love that native NVRAM too). However, when I boot up the computer for about 30 seconds there's some serious lag going on. I can get rid of it if I change the resolution/refresh rate or unplug and plug back in the cable. I tried a different monitor but it still happens. It's not a big deal, but I wondered if anyone had the same issue.

Here's a video showcasing the issue: https://youtu.be/ZG7ROcC1zo4?t=36

Hardware:

  • Asrock H310M-HDV
  • Intel Core i5 8400

BIOS settings and OpenCore configuration: https://github.com/dimitarnestorov/OpenCore-Asrock-H310M-HDV-i5-8400-UHD-630

Notes:

  • I couldn't turn off CSM because otherwise the machine refused to boot up
