Help with Vanilla Install Catalina

Downloaded Catalina 10.15.2 from App Store.

Followed this guide start to finish. (except for the config.plist as there is nothing there for Ryzen, R9 3900x). Instead I got the AMD_Vanilla-master from GitHub and used the 17H file config.plist.

The usb boots to a black screen , then stalls at a line of plus signs. (++++++++++++++++++)
