Z370 vs Z390 with 9th gen chip?

What would you guys recommend?

• i7 9700k with a Z370 (Asus Prime Z370-A II), with native NVRAM but older board - will it be able to handle the 9th gen chip properly?
• i7 9700k with a Z390, possibly without NVRAM but board is made to handle 9th gen chip
