Ryzen and Final Cut

I recently picked up a Ryzen 7 2700x for $200 AUD and was thinking of upgrading my current PC with it. I currently have an i7 6700k so was thinking it would be a decent upgrade as I do a bit of video editing.

My questions is, how does a Ryzen hackintosh perform in terms of final cut Pro? I know that without the integrated GPU there's no support for quick sync but haven't been able to find out a whole lot of information or comparisons.

Is there anyone who has maybe used both or knows what kind of difference to expect between similar AMD and Intel CPUs?

For example, how much difference would there be between say, an 8700k and a 2700x?

Just for context I have a Vega 64 and 32gb ram.

Thanks in advance :)
