I'm trying to inject an AX88179 kext (extracted from the installer .pkg) from Clover. So far it works perfectly fine (including hotplugging) if I leave the dongle plugged in while booting macOS, but it won't work if I plug it in after booting macOS. As expected, kextstat doesn't show the kext at all when the adapter does not work. Is there anything I can do to force load the kext even if the adapter is not plugged in?
