Hay, I've hackintoshed my laptop (currently running Success' href='/2020/12/install-macos-mojave-on-supported-pc.html'>Mojave) but I might get a desktop soon.
I'm looking at a few used desktop offers, and have shortlisted two which might fit my budget. One is i5 6500 with Gigabyte motherboard, 1060 6gb and a Cooler Master case, other is Ryzen 3 2200G, 16GB ram and RX 580. They cost around 30k INR (yes I know it's cheaper abroad, but what to do prices suck here).
The Intel guy is not selling any RAM, PSU or storage, and the AMD guy is not selling motherboard, storage and case.
My usage - Logic, FCPX
Since I can't mix parts from the two (Intel CPU and RX 580), should I go with AMD? Their performance level are pretty much the same, all it comes down to is compatibility.
Any inputs?
