I need help with setting up a Hackintosh for this laptop.
Laptop Specs: CPU: Intel Core i3 8150U GPU: Intel UHD 620 RAM: 4GB STORAGE: 1TB HDD KEYBOARD: AT Translated - (PS/2) TOUCHPAD: Synaptics (SYNA2B49 - I2C BUS) WEBCAM: Syntek SCREEN: 1366x768 USB: 2 USB3 ports, 1 USB-C port AUDIO: Realtek 230(?) Supports AppleALC layout 20 ETHERNET: RTL8111 WIFI: Qualcomm Atheros (Unsupported, plan on replacing)
I have gotten basics setup including graphics and Ethernet. But I can’t for the life of me get the touchpad working. I followed the GPIO Pinning guide and no dice.
VoodooI2C doesn’t work, but does enumerate the device in IOReg.
I was also curious about DSDT tips. I have read all of rehabman’s laptop guides, but I just can’t grasp it. Any further documentation I should read to understand?
I am aware of the other posts on this subreddit about 330, including V330 and 330s, but their fixes either caused bootloops or had no effect.
If anyone has experience or help, I would be really grateful.
