Thinking about undertaking this project, I have the display, have the emac, in before "don't electrocute yourself x2". Anybody ever tried anything remotely like this? Any thoughts? Potential payoff could be a 1600x1200 display with upgradable hardware, limits on mac vga compatibility sure to crop up, but still.
