First timer here, just ascended into the PC world and Hackintosh after my 2011 MacBook decided to give up -- Just finished building and got High Sierra 10.13.6 to install on the first try. I followed a Morgonaut YouTube Video for a Vanilla install on 10.13.6 but I'm unsure how to continue.

I have a Sapphire RX Vega 64 that works flawlessly on my Windows 10 side but I am only able to boot into the MacOS using the iGPU. If I have power connected to the Vega on boot, it will panic and I'll have to restart so every time I want to run the GPU on Windows 10 for gaming I need to resupply the V64 GPU with power.
Disconnected, macOS starts fine (using it now!), with a few graphics hiccups that don't really affect my experience. I assume they will correct when I figure this GPU part out.
I found this: https://www.Tonymacx86/threads/an-idiots-guide-to-lilu-and-its-plug-ins.260063/ which references using both the iGPU and dedicated Vega 64 in tandem so I feel like I'm on the right track with something called Headless Platform ID.
Where do I go from here? Would the above link and steps solve my issue?
Do I just open up Clover Configurator and edit the config.plist settings according to the tonymac link and reboot with changes? Haven't done any messing around with the config file after I got the OS installed and working so I wanted to double check before I crash my system and need to reinstall or something. I'd be happy to share my config file, don't really know the best way to link that on reddit as I was a fairly passive user.
Also, what do I do if my edits cause me to get "locked" out of my MacOS and I cannot update the config.plist?
Thanks y'all for turning a total noob into a newfound hackintosher. Shoutout to everyone who unknowingly helped me with this project, I got a lot of ideas, parts lists and inspiration lurking around here and the hackintosher site.
