I've been trying for the past 4 hours to make my 1070ti work, but to no avail. Had been running fine on integrated graphics for the past 8 months.
Currently in "About This Mac", it shows my graphics as "Display 5MB". When I go to the System Report, it shows
Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded
Here's some details on my build: i5-7600k, Nvidia 1070Ti. Running 10.13.3 (17D47) Nvidia Driver 378.10.10.10.25.106, patched to run in 17D47 as per CorpNewt's guide.
I'll share the patches I attempted to run today: Installed WebDriver 378.10.10.10.25.106 patched to 10.13.3 17D47 (Should be working alright, I see the preference pane and the selection of Nvidia Web Driver is persistent across reboots.)
Using WhateverGreen and Lilu (Updated to the latest versions yesterday)
ig-platform-id is set to 0x59120003 (Config.Plist is as shown below) <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <false/> <key>Intel</key> <false/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>NvidiaSingle</key> <false/> <key>ig-platform-id</key> <string>0x59120003</string> </dict>
Also installed AptioMemoryFix.
Bootup flags are currently -shikivga=60 -disablegfxfirmware
Currently the display is plugged into the GPU.
Are there any tests I should conduct? I really hope to get this working.
Thanks!!
