I'm looking in building a Hackintosh, roughly matching the MacBook Pro's 2015 base model specs,the one with the i5 kaby lake and the igpu Iris Plus 640 (and 8 GB of RAM)
I rendered a 10 minute 1080p video in Final Cut Pro 10.4, with some color grading, some basic 3D titles, and some basic dissolve transitions. It took 3:55 min,ON battery mode. Not bad at all for my needs!
I was wondering if a build with the latest i5 coffee lake with the ipgu UHD 630 and no other graphics card will more or less reach that kind of performance and rendering times, because if so, it will be a great budget machine.
