I've been using 22.04 LTS Ubuntu on my macbook Air 2015 with 8 gb of ram for the past year. It's great overall other than some track pad issues and inability to use bluetooth ear buds. With the release of Ubuntu 24.04 I'm ebating whether to install the newest Ubuntu or try Sonoma on my macbook Air and would be interested in opinions. It would be great to have better battery life, a better trackpad and to use bluetooth again but I won't want to expereince any performance dips or choppiness (Ubuntu flies on my macbook air).
