I am trying to install High Sierra on my laptop but I am getting kernel panic whenever I try to boot from usb. When I boot from usb I can see a picker for a few seconds but I can't move the cursor nor select anything, then picker disappears and screen goes black. Any help would be much appreciated

Laptop Asus U36SG
CPU: i5 2450m
GPU: HD3000, GT610M (disabled with -wegnoegpu arg)
RAM: 8GB
WIFI: Atheros AR9285
Chipset: Intel HM65
BT: Atheros AR3011
256GB SSD
Since this laptop doesn't have UEFI bios I am using legacy boot method.
