Lenovo M710s

i5 7500, intel HD 630, 1 x 8GB DDR4, booting on a Sandisk Ultra Fit 32gb

Ethernet, wifi, USB3, and bluetooth works; sleep disabled.

Phew, got through it without opening up the tower at all. All thanks to the well-written guide.
Tried this on a whim, hence the 32gb mini usb, took about 5 work day lunch breaks and troubleshooting before bed. Didn't actually think I could get it working so soon.

It works and boots well. Everything else is kinda slow on this tiny USB. For the lack of storage headroom, installing apps and apps trying to update are a pain. App icons bounce for a while before loading. Please no mention of the OS security patch updates 😅

First boot was with a purple screen without graphics acceleration, the ig-platform-id I needed was 00001659. Audio, trialed for the layout-id that I needed (or have I not fixed it yet?). IntelBluetoothFirmware with USBmap fixed bluetooth. Disabled NVMe Windows partition mount on boot, UUID=[insert volume UUID] none ntfs rw,noauto. No idea about the CD drive, nothing to test it with.

Working on:

Audio output device keeps changing on boot, still figuring this one out. I'm wondering if it's because of the slower loading. I set it on built-in output and it currently defaults away from it on boot.

Sleep for OS on removable drive?

Extracting DSDT via apcidump.efi somehow gave me 256 copies of the same .dat file. What did I do wrong?
