Back in the fold with 10.15.2

So late last month I tried out the 16" MBP as a hack replacement since my i7-8700K/1070Ti box was stuck on High Sierra and the 0% interest for 2 years deal made it affordable more or less.

Problem was the laptop sucked! Just browsing imgur's homepage kicked the fans on, the MBP's idle temp was ~55℃, 10℃ over my i7's. I ran it clamshell closed connected to my dual 24" monitors, and the thing actually froze waking up twice in two weeks.

And the kicker was my Apple Magic Mouse tracking was actually shaky when used 5ft away from the laptop! Unbelievable.

RX-5700s and 10.15.2 coming out now made me bite the bullet and upgrade my i7 box, transferring the 1070Ti into my Windows 10 box and putting in a Sapphire RX-5700.

Installation was straightforward once I put the installer on a USB2 stick (the USB3 stick gave me the 'do not enter' partially through, one sign the USB3 stack got clobbered during boot).

Deleted Lilu/WEG as apparently the RX-5700 doesn't need it.

Had problems the first 2 days with rebooting on wake, but I think deleting the com.apple.PowerManagement.plist in /Library/Preferences fixed it ? ?

RX-5700 is nice & quiet.
