Ssd passtrough in kvm

Is it possible to passtrough ssd in kvm hackintosh? Is the performance better or worse compared to virtual disk file?

I'm waiting my new Ryzen. Before that I can't even try. I hope that Ryzen + kvm doesn't make it impossible to hackintosh.
