I originally had a custom SSDT-UIAC.aml but it broke sleep, so I have been using UsbInjectAll.kext + port limit patch. This has served me well in 10.14, 10.14.2 and (I thought) 10.14.3. I may not have actually used USB 3.0 since updating to 10.14.3, and now there is another supplemental update waiting...
My XHCI device id is 8086:a36d which is natively supported from what I read, and see in /S/L/E/IOUSBHostFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleUSBXHCI...
If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. I have not changed any BIOS settings...
Could it be a new USB port limit patch is required for 10.14.3?
