Ok so if i’m not mistaken you can make macOS think the mac is a different model, right? And according to this article: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchle82b42f0/mac Mic Modes is supported in Macs from 2018 and older so it’s not an Apple Silicon-only feature.
My question is, could i change my model to a 2019 iMac to unlock that feature? Are there any disadvantages? If there are no downsides i could just try and find out.
