All boot options (SSDs) disappearing from BIOS periodically

I have a weird problem. Every 5-10 cold starts and/or reboots the machine goes directly to BIOS because there are no boot drives available. Neither of my SSDs is visible, and so naturally the boot order menu is empty.

I can reboot at that point, and the Windows SSD (which is in the second position) is visible and the system boots directly to it. I can then re-create the OC boot option using bootice, and then everything works normally for a while, until they disappear again.

I'm using the LauncherOption as described in the guide. I originally enabled that so that the boot menu for OC would be recreated in the BIOS after doing an NVRAM clear. Before enabling it I had to recreate the OC boot option in Windows using bootice as desribed above every time I cleared NVRAM.

This is an Asus Z790 ProArt Creator motherboard, and two WD Black SSDs. OC 0.9.9.9 and Sonoma.

Should I try removing LauncherOption? I'm basically done with the testing that was requiring me to clear the NVRAM so often, so it may be less of a hassle to recreate the OC entry manually only if I need to do that again.
