Upgrading an XPS 15 9570 to Monterey

Hi everyone, I have a very stable running XPS 15 with Mojave 10.14.6 and an Open core 66 EFI based upon the Github repository from Jaromeier: https://github.com/jaromeyer/XPS9570-Catalina

I don't want to break anything by updating to Monterey, but as far as I recall, Apple discontinued Mojave from getting Security updates, so I will need to upgrade at one point.

Is it failsafe to upgrade just the OC and Kext Versions or is it necessary to tune DSDTs and SDST?
