The other day, I posted about having issues trying to boot the 10.4 installer on an old Conroe machine, which I am trying to set up for nostalgia. I've gotten further than that now, but it hangs here when booting the installer: https://i.imgur.com/W7cUZj4.jpg
I've tried messing with BIOS settings and whatnot, but nothing has helped me get past this point. Does anyone have any suggestions?
- Motherboard: Intel DG33FB
- CPU: Core 2 Duo E6750 (Conroe)
- GPU: ATI Radeon 7500 -- This is probably not ideal, but if I can get 10.4 running, I'll source a more-appropriate replacement.
- RAM: 4GB
- Audio Codec: Realtek ALC888
- Ethernet: Intel 82566DC -- I believe this is unsupported in 10.4, but I can probably find some cheapo card to shove in the machine.
