I've tried all of the layout ids for my codec, but the mic still doesn't work. The microphone jack doesn't work at all. It gets recognized, but the (working) microphone won't work. If I use a USB adapter with my standalone mic, it still doesn't work. I have a usb headset that does work, however. The audio jack, though, doesn't work 100% of the time.
I have a similar issue with bluetooth audio where the mic works (badly) on some devices, but not at all with others. I have a headset that disconnects as soon as I try to go to the audio input settings. After that, it can't connect at all unless I restart the computer. This headset works fine with my phone, so it's not the headset. For bluetooth, I've tried my Fenvi card's bluetooth and also a bluetooth usb adapter.
Is there a fix for these issues?
I'm running Mojave.
