Hey everyone, thought I’d post my final success in getting Big Sur to run on my setup, all parts are listed below.
CPU: Intel Core i9-9900KF
GPU:
1. eVGA GTX 1080 FTW (SSDT to disable)
2. ASUS ROG Strix RX580
RAM: 32GB DDR4 TridentZ 2400Mhz (4x8)
MOBO: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F
BT: ORICO USB Adapter
Guide: Dortania
Issues: No issues so far
My setup does use 2 GPUs, obviously the Nvidia card isn’t compatible and to fix that I’ve had to disable it completely by using an SSDT. I’m using the ORICO adapter to use a Magic Keyboard which works perfectly and is a good keyboard (albeit expensive).
