[Question] Using HS80211Family.kext in conjunction with AirportAtheros40.kext with Opencore, does anyone use it with an Atheros AR9285 card and if so, does it work for you?

I can post further specs if necessary, but I feel no need. BUT the main story is this. When I updated to Opencore 0.6.2, my wifi broke. I posted about it here, and was advised to get a modded version of IO80211Family.kext, named HS80211Family,kext, from Insanely Mac Forum. The instructions from there said that you could grab the file, and inject both that and AirportAtheros40.kext, and have wifi work. You could change info.plist to include a further IONameMatch, and so that's what I did, (pci168c,2e), for my card. Upon rebooting, my wifi still didn't work. I did a few things and it worked, but only with the original mod of IO80211Family that had to be put in /S/L/E. This modded kext was said to work on Big Sur so I updated, but wifi didn't work there either. I'm back on Catalina now with working wifi from the original kext in /S/L/E, but does anyone else have my card and use this kext with any success, and if so, might you be able to point me in a direction to try and have it work? EFI on request. Someone said I should post about this on Insanely Mac Forums, but that site doesn't work all too well with Voiceover so I couldn't really do that, hence why I'm posting here. Thanks a lot, and I mean, a lot, for any help. I'm growing tired of having to play with the system volume every time I do an update, just to get working wifi...
