I got my old rig armed with macos High Sierra, Nvidia GTX 1080Ti

My PC:Mainboard: ASUS Z87KCPU: i7-4770KSSD: Samsung 970 Evo through a NVME to PCIE adapter.Harddrives: I have 4 HDDs all through SATA 3.GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080TiMonitors: 4K + FullHD

My fixes:

  1. The Mobo does not have M.2 NVMe -> I bought this M2 to PCIE https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JJTVGZM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  2. The Mobo does not support booting from NVMe -> I flash a mod BIOShttps://www.win-raid.com/t4783f44-OFFER-ASUS-Z-K-BIOS-UEFI-v-complete-mod.html
  3. I need Nvidia GPU for my PhD in AIDL. I dont like the Ubuntu as I have a Macbook Pro, an IPhone and an iPad. Having a Ubuntu workstation just makes my day a mess. It is because of many stuff like email/calendar/iMessage does not working well on Ubuntu or does not work at all . Esspecially, the GUI is terrible. So I decided to have a Hackintosh. I use OpenCore 0.6.2 and follow strictly to the guideline. And yes I have a bunch of problems like: secure boot, CSM, primary display, output through Nvidia GPU.

Finally, I got MacOS installed, in less than 12 hours.

Todo:
- Internet: I have ordered a PCIe Wifi card and have it on the way home. Now, I am using internet through my Macbook Pro (Internet Sharing feature)

Many thanks to all efforts from open source community.
