Hi. I have a laptop with the following specs:
Name : ASUS FX504GE
CPU : Intel i5 8300H
GPU : Nvidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB / Intel UHD Graphics 630
RAM : 16GB DDR4 - 2666MHz - 2/2 slots
Storage : 250GB M.2 NVMe SSD / 1TB HDD 5400RPM
As far as I've documented myself, the GPU is supported up until High Sierra, the iGPU is fine with any version. Now, since the sole purpose of installing MacOS is the usage of Logic Pro X, I want to know if it needs GPU or it will run just fine with the integrated? (so I know which version to take).
Also, since University started I already installed a comprehensive set of programs on both SSD and HDD. However, I have a couple of spare 2.5" HDDs and I thought about getting an HDD Rack and installing MacOS on it. Would the USB connection provide enough speed for the OS to run?
