First here's my system setup:
MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2 x 16 GB
Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5600 XT
Samsung V-Nand SSD 970 EVO ( 1TB with Windows 10 Install)
Samsung 860 EVO SATA SSD (1TB with MacOS Catalina OpenCore Install)
Seagate Barracuda (2TB Extra Storage unused so far)
tp-link TL-WN881ND PCI Express Wi-Fi Adapter
Hi everyone. I successfully installed macOS on my system last night using the OpenCore install guide. I have a multi-boot setup, with Windows on a previously installed NVME SSD and Catalina just freshly installed on a SATA SSD.
Everything is working fine on the MacOS side, however, it seems as though when my BIOS is set to UEFI mode instead of CSM, LAN/Ethernet is completely dropped in Windows. However, this isn't the case when my BIOS Mode is set to CSM; my Wi-Fi card and Ethernet work just fine. I can't run MacOS in CSM mode though, as I get a KP right around the initial login.
For my initial troubleshooting, I uninstalled the drivers for both the "Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller" and the "TP-Link N PCI Express Adapter". I re-installed the latest drivers for both (from the Realtek & TP-Link websites) but no luck. I also re-installed the AMD chipset drivers off the MSI website with no luck either.
Please let me know if I can provide further information. Any help would be super appreciated! :)
