Intel F-Series CPUs

So, I went ahead and read the dortina guide and thought I knew what hardware to buy after reading it.

I am now in the process of setting everything up and choosing the SMBios, this is where it sounds like it is recommended to have an intel iGPU.

I bought an i5-10400f and plan on running it in combination with an old graphics card I have (GTX 760, a Kepler series Nvidia Card).

Is it a good idea to go ahead with the 10400f or should I return it and get a non-f version? My thought process was, one less gpu to worry about is a good thing, seems I was wrong.

This machine will mostly be used with MacOS, so I would like to have it working well.
