ASUS RGB control for LED strips?

Hi,

I made a very non-LED build with an ASUS Tuf gaming wireless x570 but was thinking of adding an LED strip just because. If I configure the LED in my windows partition will those settings carry over when I have it running as a mac? I'd like to do one of the settings where the LEDs get brighter with increasing CPU activity ( think that's the smart effect).

If not, I'm tossing a couple of cold cathode tubes in and calling it a night I think.
