Need Help with Audio

CPU: i5-10210U (Intel NUC10i5FNK)

GPU: UHD 620

RAM: 8gb Crucial DDR4-2400 SODIMM

ALC256 (RealTek)

What guide/tool followed: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Desktop-Guide/post-install/audio.html#checking-if-applealc-is-patching-correctly (OpenCore v0.5.9)

Followed the tutorial down to a T and went through the troubleshooting section and still unable to hear anything via the headphone jack. The "headphone jack" is 2-in-1 for both headphones and microphone, I am not sure if that is the problem, but any help will be appreciated! Quick edit: I can get my headphones to show up in the audio device menu along with whatever the built in sound audio device is called, but neither work in outputting sound. The device and my monitors do not have speakers, the only audio device actually connected are a pair of Apple wired earbuds (and have tested with a pair of Sennheiser HD650 through an adapter) and no sound is played.
