Connecting a Hackintosh to another hackintosh or real mac is it possible ?

At one time, and I believe still currently, you could “network” 2 macs together with a firewire cable and use things on one Mac on the other.

For example: as a musician, I have a bunch of plugins and instead of having them tax my main Mac, I’d have them on a different Mac using its cpu/ram instead.

Can hackintosh’s do this also?

I ask because even though my hackintosh is a pretty decent beast, I have a bunch of plugins on my Mac mini that would be a pain to uninstall, unauthorize, then reinstall on the hackintosh and authorize all over again. So I’d like to hook them up together and use those plugins on my hack, but saving precious cpu/ram.
