Booting back up if i mess up my EFI

Hi all,

If i mess up my EFI on my mac drive (want to cleanup my install and try a few things), what is the preferred method of reverting back to a backed up EFI folder? I have Windows 10 on a different drive and also have my opencore install USB and I keep a backup of my EFI on a NAS.

I saw a tutorial on using Minitool on windows to mount the EFI partition but that tried to install malware.
