Happy to have my x250 running smoothly. I hate the performance (or lack there of) with the edimax usb wifi dongle.
I tried a dw1820a I had laying around with no success. I about gave up on looking for a reasonably priced dw1830. That being said, I'm now set out to use a bcm94352z.
It looks like there are a couple variants of this card. The dw1560 seems to be a common choice. I notice the part number for a 1560 is a 6xryc.
I have seen few reasonably priced (ha) bcm94352z cards on eBay however the part number is a 8xryc, and they do not have the "dw1560" printed on the card.
Are these still compatible for osx? does this indicate a knock or? or is this simply an unbranded 94352z identical to Broadcom chip used in the dw1560?
