Hey everyone! Season's greetings to you. I am finally ready to upgrade from Mojave 10.14.6 to Catalina 10.15.2. I have created a backup USB that can boot into the Catalina installer and hopefully, it will also be able to install Catalina on my system without giving me a lot of headache.
But I am not interested in a complete wipe; I want to uograde from Mojave and retain all my files and my Windows partition as well. I believe I have some kexts in /L/E folder. Do I just boot into Mojave, copy the kexts from my USB, build kextcache and run the Catalina installer from Mojave itself? Thanks
