So Mojave has eGPU support, and that apparently works the same way as Optimus on Windows. And Mojave(and I think Catalina too) has Nvidia drivers for Kepler-based cards (like the GT 730). Wouldn't Optimus become possible with a few patches to trick the OS into thinking the dGPU is actually an eGPU? Or is that implemented in such a way that only AMD is possible?
Specifically asking because I have an ASUS X555LJ and that has 920M, which is actually a GT 730 in sheep's clothing.
