RX570, Hackintosh (via VFIO/KVM in Arch) - acceleration on install, loses it after reboot

I’ve got an amazing hackintosh I just built - AMD 3900x on X570, RX570 4GB for Mac, GTX1080 for Windows. Passthrough SATA & USB all work great. Problem is, the GUI isn’t Metal accelerated after the Host reboots and I can’t figure out how to debug it.

1. I installed Lilu & Whatevergreen (any configuration necessary?)
2. In Clover, I declare the GPU is 100267df (from memory, sorry)
3. After I upgrade the VM from High Sierra, it’s branded Metal Family 2. Shutdown host, reboot, it goes away and I just get an EFI loader. :-(
4. I’m not passing it a BIOS - had trouble capturing in.

Would upgrading to Catalina beta help?

Any way to debug this? Force it to load the right Orinoco (?) renderer but can’t verify it’s loading.
