I was using AMD OSX’s vanilla install tutorial, on top of a previous few other random ones I found, and spent about 6 hours today struggling to install first Mojave and then high Seirra....
All I did was switch my USB from USB2 port to USB3 during the boot process from USB and it magically just worked.
I couldn’t find this on any forum or post so far , even on reddit. But for some reason USB2 port didn’t work.
