Ok. Preface out of the way:
Vanilla installs Success with h270 and z370 builds with no boot issues.
I have a gigabyte z390 m gaming/5 sata hdd/ssd, vega 64, i5-9600k, alpine ridge tb card
I cannot get my machine to boot with igpu enabled unless I use OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi.
Based on the feedback from this Bullard I’m trying not to use that particular file and Clover but every other aptio file gives me a memory error at boot.
I want to upgrade to a 5700 xt for windows and use the igpu for mojave or high sierra. Can anyone think of what I could be doing wrong? I feel like ive tried every combination of plist mods and bios settings and bios revisions for my mobo over the last 3 months.
Follow up question: how can OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi break my mobo?
Edit: if i turn igpu off in bios i can boot with a normal aptiofix file
