I’ve had two MacBooks in the past. The last was a 15” with every bell and whistle to the tune of over $3k. I was on a work trip to India and spilled a gin and tonic on it that fried it. I didn’t want to shell out that kind of cash again and started looking around and for $800 even I picked up the base model matebook x pro. It has the dual core i5, 8GB memory, 256GB ssd and its a great machine. The big downside that has me considering throwing it on eBay and getting a MacBook again is the OS. All the little things like answering phone calls, iMessage, and airdrop.
Is it possible to put MacOS on it and obtain that functionality?
