Undervolting Haswell and above!

Voltageshift is an undervolting tool compatible with (AFAIK) every single Intle chip since Haswell. Using this utility, I've managed to get my CPU Package power from ˜40W to <30W (on full load). Idle temps are lower too. I've also undervolted my HD graphics with pretty satisfactory results. I feel like I've won the silicon lottery, because I've gotten -150mV on the CPU and -170mV on the GPU. Sweet!

DISCLAIMER: Although it is next to impossible to harm your chip by undervolting it, I'm not responsible for any damage to your machine and so on. Undervolting is really safe and the most that should happen is your computer restarting because you set voltages too low.

GUIDE LINK (don't forget to use the minus signs, otherwise you'll have a pretty hot, if not burnt, chip). Also, only set your voltages permanently when you're pretty sure these are stable. Otherwise, you'll have a really cool computer that doesn't boot.

Good luck!
