I have a G31m es2l 775 socket mobo , with a Core2duo e8600 wolfdale clocked stable at 4Ghz. 500gb 7200rpm HDD. I have a nvidia 8400gs graphics card. Only 2gb ram (ddr2 1033). It has run 10.6.1 for 8 years now. (Installed with MyHack which seems gone now!)
Soooo, I am thinking el Capitan looks best. But can I get Sierra or later on it do you think? What does /r/hackintosh suggest?
I will order 4gb ram from eBay.
TLDR; what os x should i install on old hardware, but Mac friendly hardware?
