What's the most robust way of generating the system and board serial? I'm swapping out my SMBIOS for various reasons not relavent here. I feel daft for even asking this, but searching the sub turns up many answers.
Obviously Clover Configurator can churn them out on demand, but the tool-tip warns 'The serial number used by Clover is most probably banned already'. I assume that refers to the default config.plist generated by Clover itself, not configurator generated data?
The vanilla guide suggests using /macserial, which has now been merged into another project. Other guides I've read have different approaches. The only commonality is using terminal to generate a UUID.
