I’ve got an old Zotac Zbox ID10 that I installed Mavericks on yesterday with the hopes of making it an airplay audio receiver with AirServer. I can’t get my iOS devices to discover that machine though. When I booted off that drive in my main hackintosh and my 2008 iMac, they had no problem discovering them. All devices are connected to the same network. Does anyone know what could be keeping my devices from seeing that machine?
Specs: OS X 10.9.3 Intel atom 1.66 GHz dual core 2GB DDR2 GMA 3150 (unsupported) Atheros AR5B95 (works with kext patch) Realtek LAN (can’t remember specific chipset, but it works) ALC888
I know this computer is an old POS and newer hardware would be ideal, but I just wanted a free project that used stuff I have laying around already.
