macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 cannot boot Clover from disk

Hi together,

a few days ago I decided to turn my trusty PC into an Hackintosh. Starting out and not knowing much about macOS's internals and Hackintosh's in general, I decided to follow the guide on tonymacx86 using xxxBeast utilities.

System specifications

  • Mainboard: ASRock B75m R2.0
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 2600
  • GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 780ti

The installation process went well and without issues. Unfortunately I seem unable to set up my SSD as the boot device. I started out using MultiBeast for the post installation process, but afterwards I could not boot without the installation USB stick connected. Following this I tried multiple solutions from the internet which would fix this problem but since today none of those has helped me. The latest solution I have tried was again to install vanilla Clover to my SSD, but again no success.

In my UEFI boot options MAC OS X appears twice. When selecting those and disabling all other boot options, the result is a direct boot into the UEFI. When selecting the SSD which has macOS installed I am booted directly into Windows since of yesterday (I installed Windows to another disk). Before that, i received a screen with "Unknown operating system". As soon as I connect my install USB to the system, the options USB and USB:UEFI appear in the boot options. Using the UEFI option i can boot into clover and select the macOS High Sierra disk with no problem.

If anybody can offer some guidance on this topic, it would be highly appreciated!
