So my hackintosh would fail to boot or yet sometimes take almost an hour to get into the system. i tried for almost a week to troubleshoot what the issue was. opened my system and checked all things such as MOBO led lights. even switched out the PSU. Eventually i reinstalled macOS and it installed then the same issue happened. except this time i noticed one of my ssd wasn't showing up in the system. i unplugged it from the board and it started to boot normally again, turns out the SSD died and the system would try to establish a connection with it again and again until it gave up.
