Apple is purportedly planning to unveil a new 16-inch MacBook Pro at a September press event, according to IHS Markit via Forbes.
"We foresee that Apple will release a new product [at the] Sep’19 Apple event if there’s no unexpected development issue," said Jeff Lin, Associate Director, Consumer Electronics.
IHS Markit believes Apple will use a 3072x1920 LCD display from LG for the new notebook and Intel's 9th generation H series mobile processors. Additionally, Lin says Apple could update the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro and the Retina MacBook Air with new processors.
