SD Card Reader disables my keyboard - XPS 9550

Hey yall! I successfully made my system with a windows dual boot, and everything is running smoothly. However, when I enable the SD-Card reader in the BIOS the keyboard input stops working after booting into MacOS. It works at the Clover boot menu to select which i want to boot into. But once in MacOS with the SD card reader turned on I cant type in the password or anything, but the mouse still works fine. Ive read that there is no driver for the SD card reader as its PCI based. However I do a lot of photo and video work and file transfers with the SD card when I am in windows, meaning each time i want to switch OS's I essentially have to enter the bios and turn the SD card on and off.

Is there something I can do do avoid having to constantly turn it on and off the SD card reader in the BIOS? Is there a way to disable it from being detected in MacOS? Im not looking to have the SD card reader work, just to make it so i dont have to enter the bios every other boot to turn it on and off.
