Radeon VII Crashes macOS 10.14.5?

Hello everyone! I recently purchased a Radeon VII to replace my aging Radeon HD 7950, and was excited to hear that macOS 10.14.5 added support for the VII. However, no matter what I do, it seems that macOS crashes within seconds of reaching the desktop since I swapped GPUs, rebooting the machine. Putting back the 7950 back in does stop the crash, but that doesn't really help me.

I've tried reinstalling macOS, I've tried toggling various settings in both my BIOS and in Clover (including disabling all patches and testing other SMBIOSes); I've cleared my CMOS and even tried using OpenCore. I've tried getting rid of every kext other than FakeSMC.kext; I've cleared the NVRAM. I also verified that I have no old SSDT/DSDT files conflicting with the hardware change, and I have emptied my boot arguments. However, even after all this, the outcome is still the same.

Checking the panic report, it seems that the built-in AMD graphics kext is implicated. At this point, I'm not even sure what to try. The card works absolutely fine in Windows.

Here are my machine's specs:

Motherboard: ASRock Z170M Extreme4

CPU: Intel i7-6700k

GPU: AMD Radeon VII

RAM: 32GB DDR4

SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB (NVMe)

Adding the '-xcpm' boot argument seems to avoid the panic, but there also appears to be no graphical acceleration (no frosted glass in the UI, everything is choppy and slow, etc).

If it would help anyone, here is the panic report: https://pastebin.com/ZLdLNnJ5

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd really like to get up and running again...
