Issues with z390 build i7 9700k

Hi All,

This is my 4 Hackintosh in the last 6 months with mixed results, im using a Asus z370 prime A at work for 2 other machines and had 0 issues, everything works so easily so i decided to convert my PC at the time which was an X99 over.

This was more problematic and kept freezing under heavy load only in OSX so i just sold that MB/CPU combo and bought a Gigabyte z390 Ultra and a I7 9700k. I was going to by the z370 even though its old because i know how easy and stable it is, but my supplier discontinued so got stuck with the newer Gen.

I read online that i may not need to do a complete reinstall and just change my EFI which i attempted from someone who has a very similar build to me, EFI and settings are in the link

https://hackintosher.com/builds/gigabyte-z390-aorus-ultra-i7-9700k-vega-64-hackintosh-build-guide/

I copied across the EFI and i tried to boot to both my old MACOS and also the installer partition but both failed. I get a circle with a line through it and the text on screen is jumble so cant write the error message.

In the guide it states to try various things i have tried both dGPU and the Vega 64 fan curve version. as well as applied the USB patch to remove 2 ports.

Im happy to reinstall from scratch if i have to but cant get to install screen, some other things i have tried apart from following the guide for bios settings etc are,

remove all of my other PCI card except SSD for Windows and Vega 64.

remove any USB device except mouse and keyboard.

Tried different USB sticks

Plugs usb into extension cable so its runs as USB 2

Setup is as follows,

Intel 9700k

Gigabyte Auro z390 Ultra

Samsung Evo 7 500GB SSD M2

16GB 3200 DDR4

PCI Slots

1 x Alpine Ridge Thunderbolt

1 x Fenvi t919

1 x Intel 700 series SSD

1 x AMD Asus Strix Vega 64

Water cooler

Samsung 4k TV plugged into HDMI on Vega 64

USB Keyboard and mouse

Any help is appreciated.
